Default Valve cover bolt torque?

I am replacing the valve covers on my 99GT. It says to torque the bolts/studs to 89inch/lbs. I don't have an inch/lb torque wrench.......any idea what that would be in ft/lbs? Or can I just tighten with a 1/4 inch socket wrench and be careful?

Thanks! Do you guys go by this, or just by feel? 7ft/lbs doesnt seem like much.
