Default 1in Billet Aluminum Wheel Spacers

1in Billet Aluminum Wheel Spacers

Looking to get these since I have 05 wheels on my 00 GT.

I do have one question... it says "Note: will not fit stock factory wheels"

My question is, is this what I need so that my wheels are not sunken in as much, or will they not work since the wheels I have are made by Ford (stock for the 2005)?

You probably will have to trim your axle studs so they don't interfere with the wheel hub. Not a big deal. Grab a cutoff wheel. Hacksaw is not so good. You want clean edges.

I have a grinder, so if thats what needs to be done it shouldnt be a big deal.

I almost dont reccomend these after the trouble ive been having out of em today. It'd prob be best to get the H&R ones instead of the no names.

How have they been giving you trouble?

And why do you call them no names?

I'm curious, because I don't know how I feel about dropping an extra $50 on the H&R. It already sucks to be spending $100 but I feel like its needed.

H&R all the way. Know a few guys that have them on their Cobra wheels and love them, no balancing issues or anything from their word.

I think they say they don't work with stock wheels because the lugs wouldn't be long (or too long and hit like r3d said) enough? Thats my only guess.

Honestly, I'm debating on just getting the 1/2" ones instead. I don't think it looks right when the wheel/tire is further out than the fender, but I also don't like it sunk in. I think that the 1/2" spacer will even it out to where its even with the fender but not protruding out.

those are another set of no named ones..

I honestly think these things have warped my new axles I just put in. Pay the extra money for a name, theres a reason.

And trust me you'll want 1 inchers.

There is no reason to pay more 50$ more for them. I have the exact ones you were looking at, have had not a single issue since i put em on, and Yes you will want 1". And they actually made my rear ride a bit smoother. Also how would they warp axles?

Be careful on how far out you go, cause the fender well can cut into the tire if you go out to far. On factory wheels and 1" spacer would be fine but if you get wider wheels you would want the spacers off. The no namers are fine. I got a set of the ones from AM and had no issues till I put the bigger wheels on.
