Default SLP vs Mac vs Bassani

I am going to be getting a full cat system and x-pipe...im thinking the SLP loudmouth or the Mac 2.5in for the catback and a SLP or Bassani for the x-pipe..which one or combo has the most power gain and which one or combo is the LOUDEST!!...thanks

I run a Bassani X-pipe and a MagnaFlow Catback. I get alot of compliments on the sound. Its really quiet at idle, has a good rumble while cruising and is REAL loud at WOT.

Personally, Ive always thought of MAC as kinda cheap stuff for some reason. SLP stuff I associate with Camaro's and Trans Am's...

Exclamation

I have the SLP loudmouth cat back and just got the x-pipe but haven't had a chance to install it yet though (need o2 sensors). But I can tell you that I love the sound of the exhaust and no matter at what speed the cars sounds great. The reason I went with SLP is because I wanted to be different than all the other mustang guys (no offence) and sound different. That for me was a big thing as well as how loud it is. There is one bad thing though, when I used to live at home with my parents and tried to sneak out it was impossible because of how loud it is. Other than that I love it and have no complaints except that getting o2 sensors are a pain and cost $50. Ok I said everything I had to say. You really can’t go wrong though, just preference.

:disgust: Just cause an item doesnt cost 2x as much as another doesnt make it cheap! just inexpensive. Iam not crazy about all MAC items but they are reasonably priced, BTW the Mac- prochamber is one of the best midpipes out there bang for the buck! I believe 5.0 magazine did a dyno test on all of them few years ago and MAC I believe was one of the highest rated HP wise!

I just had my SLP loudmouth and X-pipe put on and they sound awesome. I can't believe how good they sound. If you want a loud rumble and some quality at a good price check out the SLP's. Just my .02
