CUTLER TO THE BEARS

i don't like the bears or cutler but to the people who do jay cutler traded to the bears

00blkstanggt 04-02-2009 03:05 PM

The bears need to settle on a damn quarterback instead of switching back and forth when one does bad.

PistonsFan102 04-02-2009 03:38 PM

culter+bears=good move

lions+not getting culter=bad move

HokieStang00 04-02-2009 03:50 PM

Good. now the lions can focus on getting Vick !!

j_gutta870 04-02-2009 05:09 PM

FREE MICHAEL VICK

King 04-02-2009 06:49 PM

Oh wow...haha

I'm good with the trade. We got two round 1 picks too, one for this season and one for next. Orton will probably end up being second string for Stafford if we can pick him up in the draft, but I don't see that happening. Although, the Broncos have what? the 18th overall pick in the first round? So maybe...

engineman312 04-02-2009 08:52 PM

thanks god. i was worried he was going to my jets.

King 04-02-2009 09:15 PM

LOL ^^^

We were worried we'd have to keep him.

PistonsFan102 04-02-2009 09:28 PM

Stafford will be gone by 18th.

And Cutler is young I'd love to have him.

Slim03GT 04-02-2009 09:50 PM

Lions and Vick..hmm. Id bring in Sanchez to the Lions and have Vick as his mentor.... teaching football and not the art of dog fighting of course.

j_gutta870 04-02-2009 10:04 PM

no vick goes to the vikings... why have a fake (tavaris jackson) when you can have the real thing (vick)....... or the 49ers

00blkstanggt 04-03-2009 07:41 AM

We don't want Michael Vick (49ers fan). I'd rather stick with Shaun Hill then have Vick.

lol...... why not vick man??? he'll win football games... i'm sure he won't be a quarterback when he returns anyway

That's a great pick-up for the bears since they've had so much trouble with QB's the past few years.

Can you imagine the uproar it would cause in the Bay Area if Vick went to the 49ers!

j_gutta870 04-03-2009 09:27 AM

i'm sure it would be a uprising..... lol..... but don't they understand its to better the team... and actually it was rumored that mike singletary was waiting on a decision from the magnificent nfl commish (dirtbag)... so the 9ers had their eyes on him...

White04GT 04-03-2009 09:36 AM

I don't see Vick being a QB when he returns but who knows? Maybe a WR.

NewMustangMan 04-03-2009 09:42 AM

Or even a RB. And i think it was a great trade for both teams. I am a Panthers fan and was hoping they would trade peppers and a first round for him. Peppers does not what to be in Carolina and delhomme sucks a giant dick!

King 04-03-2009 09:49 AM

Delhomme is a lot better than you guys give him credit for. I wouldnt've minded a trade for him.

NewMustangMan 04-03-2009 10:14 AM

Hes great during the regular season but seems to mess up in the playoffs. I think Cutler, even though kinda a baby, has a better arm and is a better QB.

macs03GT 04-03-2009 05:45 PM

Chi is really gunna benefit from having Cutler. All they need to focus on now is getting someone who can catch the ball.

Nofire 04-04-2009 03:47 AM

I think it was a smart move by the Bears. They picked up a young QB who has a great skillset. He'll learn the position with time.

Now if the Vikings picked up Vick, that would be a serious back field with him and AD back there.....

HokieStang00 04-04-2009 06:19 AM

Living in Michigan, I think having Vick on the team AT QB...would be about the only thing that would make me want to watch them play again. It's like having Barry Sanders back again. Yeah we might still be an average 9-7 to 7-9 team...but at least we have some exciting shit to watch!

lol...

Looks like a good move. Except for giving up all those damn draft picks. The bears were a decent team last year, a good quarterback will make them good I think..

00blkstanggt 04-08-2009 08:36 AM

I don't see Vick making a huge improvement for the 49ers. I think Singletary is going to be a great coach and will do well in the draft. The 49ers's defense is pretty strong and only getting better. Willis is kicking ass. Once the offense comes together, they'll be playoff bound, easily.

he could give any team a "reggie bush"... a little scat back
