cowboys FTL!!! what happened to romo?

what do you guys think happened to the cowboys the last few games they were going down.

o well the packers are still in it.:D

Tony Homo loses again. No playoff victory for him. Once the Giants started putting pressure on him, he started to lose his composure and just couldn't get crap done. Go Packers.

Oh yeah, Chargers stand no chance against the Pats and I hate Phillip Rivers.

1StockGT 01-13-2008 07:35 PM

I'm a Giants fan, and I'm glad to see them send the Cowgirls home. We can finally be done hearing about Tony Homo, Jessica Simpson, and TO all in one shot. Tony Homo folded like a piece of paper once he started getting hit and the pressure got there.

00blkstanggt I agree with you I don't like Phillip Rivers either. His true colors have shown, and IMO doesn't belong playing with a class act like LT. He is a bad sportsman and talks alot of trash. We'll see how much trash he talks next week while he's taking a beat down.

GreenOOgt 01-13-2008 08:13 PM

Another Giants Fan here, did you guys see TO being a :crbaby: about people talking about tony......:kekekegay:.

SnTBakosFinest 01-13-2008 09:34 PM

Regardless of what trash Rivers talks, hes gotten san diego to the afc championship, lead them to a 14-2 season last season. And hes been their starter for 2 seasons.

He shows a hell of alot of heart for going out and playing in knee braces for not one game, but for multiple games.

A class act like LT? You do realise that LT has no problem going onto national television stations like ESPN and discussing what he dislikes right? Rivers got into it with a fan this past game..but all it showed was rivers saying something. Its not uncommon for some douchebag to throw a cup of beer or something at a player and get away with it, especially when their team is losing. Oh and the other quarterbacks and other teams, hell, it happens every game, theres always trash talking.

And you all were like "they won't beat indy" so...we'll see what happens against NE. I think even if they do lose, it'll be a better game then the first time they matched up this season.

I'll be a Green Bay fan when NY steps onto their field. Screw Eli.

You're stupid if what you say T.O did was being a cry baby. He is a competitor and the boys turned him into an entirely different person. If you've ever been in any kind competitive sport and get eliminated from play offs I can tell you first hand (Soccer player in high school) loosing in the playoff hurts like nothing imaginable, yes I cried when our team lost in the playoffs. Its a combination of frustration/anger/dissappointment that gets the best of anybody if you're really passionate about your team. The bottom line is, T.O. Showed dallas his true skin and he has truly earn my respect as a fan.

With that said, Romo needs to get his fucking act together along with the entire offense line. Crayton dropped a game changing pass in the second half and T.O didn't perform the way he normally does. He can say that he was a 100% all he wants but the fact of the matter is he wasn't and his performance proved it. He always blasts through secondaries and that just wan't the case this time aroudn. I'm not making any excuses for my boys but things need to get fixed if we're going to able to achieve a superbowl victory once more.

Big props to the G-men because we simply got out played. Good luck winning in lambeu as the packers are tough to beat in their home field in the cold but the G-men definately have what it takes to get the job done. Good luck G-men!!!

<-----Very dissappointed!!:(:(:mad::mad:

cpthowdy 01-14-2008 12:15 AM

2 yrs in a row that Romo chokes in the last min. of the game!!!these playoff games were and are very good to watch this year, not like the last couple of years.cant wait for next week!!

GreenOOgt 01-14-2008 12:27 AM

I will give the boys props i was on the edge up to the last .10 sec. I really thought they where goin to let them score and the season would be over. But the D pulled it off and there on the way to to face the packers. I think to have a good roll goin being there playing on the road(where there better). I will be waiting for the opening kick off @6:30 with a cold bud lite in my hand and hope for the best.

4.6 Love the true TO colors will eventually rear their ugly heads again..... it's only a matter of time. Don't get me wrong he is a great player when he's not making an ass out of himself.

Not happening. Dallas for some reason has a way of turning people into an entirely different person. I think dallas has changed T.O for the best. T.O has always and I mean always thrown his quarterback under the bus each and every time they fail to produce in these types of games. He took upon himself to defend the team and for that I will always remember him. The bottom line is the Offense fell apart in the second half and this just sucks!!:(:(:(:(:(

HokieStang00 01-14-2008 07:50 AM

Nothing "happened" to Tony Romo. The media and many fans set a lot of unreal expectations on this guy. He's been way overhyped. After watching Manning, Brady, Favre, hell even Rivers and Garrard playing better, it was painfully obvious that he has only played quarterback for two years. I had a feeling last year when he made the pro bowl after only starting half the season, that he was doomed to not meet expectations.

00blkstanggt 01-14-2008 09:37 AM

I think it will be Packers and Patriots in the Superbowl. I still want to see the Pats go down, but I don't know if it's happening or not.

Bottled GT 01-14-2008 02:26 PM

In all honesty...being the Dallas fan that I am...I wouldn't put the blame on Tony for this one...

The Offensive line weren't doing their job and keeping Tony from getting presure

The Defense choked at the end of the second quarter and let the Giants put 7 up on the board

Crayton dropped 2 HUGE pases

Defense totally sucks cow balls at making tackles

and last but not least...We need to boycot Flozel Adams and his god damn 10 penalties be4 halftime!!! WTF!!!

1StockGT 01-14-2008 03:27 PM

I wouldn't put all the blame on Flozel Adams either. He may be the most penalized o lineman for false starts, but you have to look at the center. It's amazing that the only got called for the false starts they did. It looks funny when the entire team is moving then Romo gets the ball. Even the announcers were like what's going on.

Once the Giants D started to get pressure on Romo he folded like a lawn chair. Once he started to get hit repeatedly he started to throw bad passes, run backwards, and yell at everybody else like his bad passes were their fault.

Overhyped???? Pretty sure he set three team records this year.(Completions,td's, and passing yards) Statisticaly speaking was the third best QB in the league. Yes he hasn't on a playoff game yet, and I would take that over the records. That being said he is not overhyped.

Yeah, he got a 67.5 million dollar contract on his first year as a starter, going on to his second pro bowl, and gets to fuck some of the hottest chicks around and leads the most popular team in the nfl...yeah..hes way overrated. I would hate to be him..

LOL. Only a Cowboy fan would really think his team is the most popular team in the NFL. Just because the media has a fetish for Dallas, doesn't mean the rest of America gives two shits about them. Joey Harrington would look good behind the O-line in Dallas. What happened when a little "pressure" actually came through the line? Romo put on his cry baby face and they fell apart. I'm not saying he won't get better, and COULD be a great QB, but giving him 67 million his first year starting just shows how overrated he is, it doesn't mean he's actually worth 67 million. And as far as banging hot chicks, that's great and all, but what does that have to with his QB ability? I bet Jessica Simpson is with him for his superior football skills....

I agree , the chicks you bang don't win Super Bowls. Why not ask Dan Marino what would be better??? Breaking records or winning the big game. I'm sure he would have rather got a ring.

TJeffer3 01-24-2008 11:53 AM

LOL. You know whats funny is that Romo and Jessica broke up. LOL
