Need Your Help

I'm having a hard time deciding if these mirrors are painted DSG or Mineral Gray. I contacted the seller and all he could tell me was that they were "kind of a gray color".

Probably DSG but could be mineral grey. There were only like 150 cobras (cobra break-a-way mirrors?) made in MG so the chances are slim.

Looks like mineral grey from the picture though.

im saying DSG. mostly cause i dont think anyone here can tell by that pic. everything looks a bit yellowish. see if the seller can take another pic of them sittin on the driveway, that slate color of cement should clean out any contaminating hues being projected by the cardboard box.

buy em anyway. who cares. if it is the wrong color say yer car is 2 tone.

Dont forget, 04 Mustangs with the "40th Anniversary package" came with special floormats, interior plaque, beige stripes, wing delete, beige bullets, and .... (drumroll please)............Painted mirrors.. ta DA!

Dunno how many of those cars are DSG or MG, but it definatly could be off an 04 GT with the 40th package. Mine has it and my mirrors are painted, i think Ryan04GT has the same.

03 was the last year for mineral grey and 150 cars made it out in that color which was then replaced with DSG for the remainder of the year. So it has to be either oem painted mineral grey which came from a cobra, or someone painted them to be on their car with the cobra mirrors.

I'm pretty sure, and if they aren't, I still saved money over what Ford charges ($450 a pair, unpainted).

Not that I REALLY know, but I'd say MG. Mainly because as the name "Dark Shadow Grey" would suggest, they'd be dark, and they just don't seem to be dark to me.
