Default My tune??

Well yesterday after work I decided to get the XCal out and see if I could turn off the traction control :wallbash:

Well still did'nt figure that out but I reinstalled the factory tune and then reinstalled the Performance tune. After I finished I started it up and put it in the garage for the night.

This morning on the way to work I noticed that it seemed to be running a hell of alot better than before. After work I drove it around for awhile to see if I was crazy or something and DAMN it feel's alot stronger.

So what could cause this???

The only thing I think I did different was shut off the top speed limiter.

Only thing I can think of is you basically reset the PCM and allowed the computer to re-learn your driving habits. On another car I owned, the computer would always adapt itself based on how I was driving.

Maybe you just didnt have the performance tune properly flashed onto your car in the first place. It happens.... Then when you uploaded the tune again it went through properly this time. Now your finally feeling the performance tune!

What kind of power increase does it feel like?

Do you like the Xcal? A tuner offered me a good deal on one and I may buy that for temorary tuning. Can the Xcal hold 2 tunes? one performance and one nitrous? Then I may take it to a place in kentucky to have it dyno tuned with the Xcal.

I need to get to the track, it has been 10,000 miles since I installed my blower and I have NO idea what it'd run.

When you changed it back to stock, then tuned it yourself, you did the tuning rather than using the preset custom tune...?
