Has anyone seen a 17x9 black saleen?
 

I've looked for hours...and can't find anything. It's #1 on my wheel choice right now but I cannot find them anywhere. If anyone has any idea I'd appreciate it a lot.

I don't think the black ones came in 17s...I could be wrong, though.

Yeah the black Saleens are only available in 18's, it's stupid I know.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. Oh well. I guess I'll move onto rim choice #2. Thanks guys.

Don't want them in 18's at all? What's your 2nd choice?

Well I wanted to keep the tires I have now. I was trying to do this as cheap as possible, instead of buying 4 wheels + 4 tires. I could sell the rims I have now and cut out half the cost for new ones, so it would cost me 300-400 for new ones. Choice #2 is Black Chrome Cobras.

Not sure how I feel about the black chrome cobras honestly. I gotta see them in person before I can say for sure, but the fr500s in black chrome looked pretty good when I saw them so I don't see why the cobras wouldn't. I'd personally just wait and get the black Saleens in 18s. Sell your cobras with the tires and just ask more then you originally planned to help cover for the 18" tires. Just my 2 cents.

I'm really leaning towards the black chromes. I NEVER see anyone with rims like that on any car. I love how it looks on Swervo's Mach, and I like the cobra rim style even better. After finding that thread I'm seriously sold.

Yea I saw 17x9 black saleens on a 3000gt on a car show and chrome 03 cobra rims on a 98 grand prix gtp at the same show

in my opinion the black chrome looks great on the computer screen but in person it just looks like dirty chrome.. maybe u should consider getting them powder coated.. but i guess its all person preference so good luck shopping around..

Do they make a spray you can use for rims to make rims appear as there Black Chrome, I used to work with a girl and she would have them as if they were black chrome and then she would say my husband took the black chrome off...I never could make sense of it, so was thinking he must have been using some kind of spray?
