gixxer's are cheaper to replace parts on, and cheaper on insurance. when i was getting quotes locally here, it was like a $20-$30 difference between suzuki, honda, yamaha. i think that i would get the gsxr only for that reason. i personally like the 2003 cbr954rr. nice lil 600cc chassis with a nice big liter bike engine. lol.

Not to mess up your thread man, but what does everyone think of of buell bikes? I've been considering getting a bike within the next 3-4 months. I need to take the rider course to learn to ride and I was checking out bikes and buells look pretty damn sweet...

im not a fan of buell bikes. i dont like how the look or sound. if i were to go with a v-twin, the only option for me would be the honda RVT1000 RC51. sick bike and a half there

nope. your not pissing anyone off by telling them how to learn something. lol. i actually highly suggest that every rider take the Motorcycle Safety Course at their local DMV. i think it should be required but its not.

Not to mention, the R6 used to dominate 750cc AMA Racing. (don't know if it still does)
