Default Plasma Booster??

Can someone explain to me how a Plasma Booster works and what the pro's and con's are? Would the plasma booster work in conjuction with a diablo predator? Would I need to change spark plugs to run a plasma booster?

Sorry for all the questions. Thanks.

It piggybacks your stock ignition and gives you a stronger spark. A few simple wire hookups is all there is to it. Working in conjunction with a tune...I don't think you'd have a problem. A plug change wouldnt be ness.

Ive read a few posts on other forums saying a ignition upgrade isnt ness. most of the time and that the stock spark was good enough. If I wanted to use a piggyback ignition booster, Id probably try the MSD Stacker 8. But I can't say I ever hear much about em.

would be good with a nitrous system inorder to burn it all up and get more bang for your buck, however stock spark system is good enough. NGK spark plugs will help out if you are wanting more spark. Not neccessary, most of these are used on older system cars foxbody and 96-97. 98 a new spark system was added to the mustangs.

99 was the first year for the coil on plug ignition if thats what your referring to. 98 still had two four wire coil packs.
