i was just wondering which taillights would look best on a screaming yellow 2004 stang...

i'm leaning towards the carbon fiber ones b/c they appear darker and i think the black appearance would look good with my tinted windows...plus they r 30 bucks cheaper than the others...what would u guys vote on? thx bros

I think the general consenus is going to be "Nothing with the word Altezza in it!!"

Get some tailight tints at www.autobadges.com and call it a day.

yer not gonna get many recs for altezza's on this site. I used to have the carbon fiber ones and diddnt have em long. the more i worked with my mustang the more i wanted to give it accents and details, but not change anything very dramatic. i went with more oldschool styling ques.

The triple vertical bar tail light is very much a mustang thing, and has been on almost all the mustangs in one form or another.

thx 4 the words of wisdom bros...i don't wanna be some civic-wannabe mustang so i'll steer clear of the altezzas and that autobadges site has some good stuff but i didn't know which i should get... they offer a 50% smoked tint or a complete blackout tint...just wanting 2 know what would probably look best on a screaming yellow stang? jack the ripper mentioned blackouts but i kinda like the smoked look...

we should be giving you a flogging for typing the word alxxxxa on the site. Blackouts look totally killer on a yellow stang. BTW, if you haven't yet check out the Yellow Mustang Registry. When they have GTG's it's really something to behold.

Hey Determined, if you find that you have any going-on's in yer life that involve being on the wrong end of the law, maybe you should stick with the 50% smoked outs, cause most states the blackouts are illegal.

The BAC level in colorado is freaky low, like .05, My buddy tim is 6foot 5, he had 1 washington apple, and 2 beers within a 3 hour period. He got pulled over for failure to use a tun signal and ended up getting a DWAI or whatever it is.

That being the case, and the fact i like to get a couple beers after work at my local watering hole, i try not to give police ANY excuse to pull me over. I would hate to have 2 beers in an hour and get a DUI cause my tail lights are too dark even though i was sober.

+1 for 50% tints. Mustangs have the coolest tail lights of any car... why would you want to change them? If you're itching to customize them, get the sequential tail light kit from CDC... I always get comments on mine!
